Oops I missed word Wednesday;(

12.15.2014

Sorry gals I forgot my word Wednesday;(
This week has been busy, busy, busy!
We had our church Christmas party and we felt the need to bake 7 billion things, Friday I had mouth surgery for an implant( I'll post the story and all that gruesome stuff soon)
Our main computer is also at the repair shop, so we only have 1 laptop in our family and we plug it up to our tv and watch stuff through it so it isn't always available.
Whew! So much stuff!
Anyhoo here is my quote for y'all today;)

Amen!

Unless you have recieved Jesus into your heart, you can't understand Christmas.
If you don't already know Jesus personally then why not do it now.
Jesus is Gods son and He loves you no matter how poor you are, or what you've done you are still a creation of God.
But... You're only a child of God when you receive Him into your heart.

To receive Gods precious gift of Salvation you must understand some things:

#1. You must realize that you are a sinner:

 Romans 3:10 (KJV)

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Romans 3:23 (KJV)

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

#2 , you must know that because of sin there must be a price paid:

Romans 6:23 (KJV)

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

#3. This price can be paid by you with an eternity in Hell, or you can accept the price that Jesus paid for your sin:

Romans 5:8 (KJV)

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

#4. To accept Jesus’ payment for your sin simply call on His name and ask Him to forgive your sins and save you:

Romans 10:9-13 (KJV)

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. [11] For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. [12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. [13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

#5. If you are ready to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, take time right now to pray, confessing your sin and asking Him to come into your heart and save you.

When you accept Jesus, He is faithful to do what He said He would - He forgives you and saves you.

1 John 5:13 (KJV)

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

(Disclaimer: I could write the plan of Salvation out by myself but I used my iphone for this post and I had a previous engagement so I took this plan off of http://emeusbaptistchurch.com/html/romans_road_to_salvation.html )

~

Christmas is not about the gift you receive now or will next year, but about the 2 gifts you recieved so long ago.

The gift of Jesus.

And the Gift of Salvation.

Have a wonderful day and I'll try to post another quote this Wednesday.
