Flaky easy homemade Biscuits!

3.30.2015

I think we all dream of a easy breakfast.
We wake up go to the kitchen put on a cute apron and start cooking.
Then the kids come in and you give them each a plate of yummy food all piping hot and ready to be devoured.
Sadly usually it's not that easy to have everything ready when the kids and hubby get up.
Well,,, with this biscuit recipe you can achieve the dream breakfast in only 15 minutes.
It only takes 3 minutes to put together and 12 minutes to cook;)
Let's begin.

Ingredients:
2 cups of all-Purpose flour
4 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp salt
1/2 cups of butter ( you can grate your butter if you like for even flakier biscuits)
3/4 c milk

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350• F
In a medium sized bowl mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles crumbs.
Pour in the milk and stir with a fork to combine.
Roll the dough about 1/2 inch thick on a floured surface.
Cut into rounds with a cookie/biscuit cutter or the mouth of a cup.
Place on a baking sheet that has not been greased and make sure they're touching.
Bake for 12 minutes and take them out.
Eat now or wait,, but who wants to wait?
I went for butter and  a apricot jam on mine but you go with your favorite combo.
